Who Am I? Solving The Identity Puzzle

Review written by Natalie Holmyard
Recently we took the Bowtell-Harris and Chard families to the Answers in Genesis, “Living in Babylon Australia Tour” in Brisbane. Ken Ham and Martyn Iles were the speakers. Ken Ham spoke on death, suffering and a loving God. Martyn spoke on Confronting Eternity – Daniel 5. It was a great investment of our time and money, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to attend.
At this conference, Martyn announced his new book, Who Am I? Solving the Identity Puzzle. With 3 young grandchildren 9, 11 and 13 sitting in the audience, I was so grateful to hear that this was the title of his book and trusted that Martyn would not go down the so often travelled road of psychologically answering this question. Upon reading the book – we were not disappointed!
We are not going to give away what Martyn has so deftly accomplished in this book. What we will say, is, you need to get this book and read it and then read it again. Read it with you spouse, read it with your kids, those in your garden – encourage everyone you know to read it.
This is the book we needed when raising our 5 children. This is the book we have been looking for to add to our repertoire of resources that we train and disciple with, for decades. “There is nothing new under the sun” – to be sure. What Martyn has done here is so clearly and articulately given us the biblical keys to equip ourselves and those in our garden, with the truth about who we are.
That’s it. Job done. Thank you, Martyn!!
